WSRF – SINCE 2015
The objective of WSRF is to discipline, organize, promote, advance and spread out the sport of Swimrun throughout the wideworld. Furthermore WSRF is to promote fair play in sport. In particular to play a leading role in the fight against doping to maintaing and protecting the physical and mental health of the athletes and also to promoting, to developing and to fostering friendly links between Continental and National Federations and its affiliated sport associations.
The approval by WSRF
- The WSRF shall recognize and affiliate a WSRF National Federation that in its own country is and independent organization.
- The WSRF President and all the members of the WSRF Executive Committee must be citizens of the country where the WSRF National Fedration is established. They must be democratically elected.
- The Governments and the public officials shall not have the power to choose and nominate the members of WSRF National Federation. To the contrary a WSRF National Federation shall decide, at its direction, to choose any members of the government and/or public office.
- The Athletic Associations that practice the Swimrun sport in a country where WSRF National Federation is not established and not recognized yet by the WSRF , can ask directly to the WSRF Executive Committe for a temporary recognition status. That temporary status shall be in force until the WSRF National Federation of that country is officially constituted and recognized. As a consequence the Athletic Associations must to join the WSRF National Federation.
